Re: found myself a firechicken

Body looks solid, except for the dent. Interior...well...it'll keep ya busy. Being that old you'd probably have to replace alot of stuff anyway. What is it an 83-85? I'd rather have to replace/repair interior than body parts. Good luck!

That bird needs a lot of TLC.
Looks pretty solid to work from, though! A little love and effort and that girl will be sexy as hell

Re: found myself a firechicken

if your looking for 400hp+ wouldnt a 350 be cheaper to build? seeing as there are a lot more parts for that type engine and there usually the most used wich makes prices go down a little? im not sure so just asking.

Re: found myself a firechicken

a 355 is just a 350 bored over, but i have a complete decent interior from a camaro, which i might use i dont know right now, the dent in the quarter should knock out though

Re: found myself a firechicken

Firechicken? Or trans am? I know 82-84 formula and trans am both had the same hood, trans am hood scoop was functional, don't think so on the formula, but that was stock. It was an easy mod to make the scoop functional on a formula. Either way, parts are fairly easy to find.

83 firebird, not the original hood, i was told that the original one peeled back and bent it bad, so he put that one on
