extended cab windows

Does anyone know how to remove the side swing out windows in a '96 extended cab? I had a '86 cavalier with swing-outs & all I had to do was take out the pin on the opener and disengage the tabs. The s-10 doesn't seem to have tabs. I don't wanna mess around & break anything.

Thanks for any help!

Re: extended cab windows

Are you trying to permanently remove them or just temporarily for some reason? If you're trying to permanently remove them then the only way I was able to remove the ones on my 99 was to cut the bracket in half, there is probably another way but I wasn't to worried about it on mine as I was welding in sheet metal to shave the windows out on it.
