i am studying A levels in Physics, Design Technology, Geography, Business Studies and General Studies at Newcastle-under-Lyme School. hopefully gonna do engineering or physics at Uni in one years time

I'm a professional drummer in the midwest (Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, etc...) who works part time as a typist at the local newspaper as a back up. Attempted to go to Berklee, but they weren't interested because I was lazy in High School and had bad grades.

I build parts for the Hubble telescope

I work in Prepress at the local newspaper...this means:
Building 2 ads per day
Building the classified section
Placing all of the ads for the paper
Spending 1.75 hours today fixing a stupid ad that the art dept built wrong
Toning, cropping, and cutting out the photos
Printing all of the pages to the imagesetter
Operating the imagesetter and processor (today this meant pulling chemical-laden film that had become stuck and getting my hands all stinky)
Proofing the negatives
Sometimes burning plates for the pressmen
Building special commercial print products such as smaller newspapers, realty advertisers, etc
Etc. etc.

That is what I've been doing today. No wonder I've had almost no posting time! It's usually a fun job but tonight was hell - but I have 2 days off after tonight so it's all good.

I'm a professional computer geek. I run an E-commerce system here in NZ. Do other normal network computer stuff. And on the side have been doing some website creation work.
