my 2 escort cosworth (wips)

ok guys i know im new here and all that but here are my 2 projects that i started yesterday

first off we have the ut models repsol number 5 cosworth with the rally kit as standard i forgot to take pics of it fully built but this is the progress so far

fully stripped wheels from a viper gts im in the process of designing a wide body and also working out how im going to lower it so that the wheels still work appropreiately

ok enough yap for the minute heres a couple of pics i just took






this will be my first big project on a 1:18 scale model any ideas / crit please tell me im here to learn aswell :P

welcome to af. here is a project of the same car that you are doing http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=496522 he is also from the UK but he kind of just stopped on this project. this should give you some ideas though. most of the pics is like from page 40 on.

i found a pic of his escort on google and it bought me here thats basically what got me back into my model modifying mine will be very wide but im not cutting the shell in half im not that brave yet

ok well sorry for the delay here is the template i designd yesterday for the wide body (only on 1 side) but i have since taken this off and think im going for a dtm style arch and skirt kit

comments and crit always welcome also any ideas for a color / paint scheeme welcome cause i like to have input from others

i keep changing my mind about these arch's cause ive now decided i want a dtm style arch kit so that just the wheel archs are extended (and of corse the side skirt) rather than the hole rear and front panel

will hopefully make some progress later today as ive found a lhs that sells 1 18 scale wheels yay!!!!

im going to build a diorama of a garage where well acctually ill keep it quiet till it happens but ill keep ya posted im just waiting for sufficiant funds and my hobby store to contact me :P
