air conditioner

maybe it is just me, i have a 2000 dodge stratus and my air conditioner doesnt work, it blows out hot air, any suggestions?

I also have a 2000 Stratus and the AC does not work. It worked last summer, but nothing now.

My son has been having AC problems with his '99 also.
We had it charged when it stopped blowing cold and it worked great. I would try that first because it's the most common AC problem.
Son's still blows colder than it ever did, but now the car has a strange problem.
When the AC is on and the car is in gear, the car "chugs" rapidly. When you turn it off the chugging stops. Also, when the car is in PARK it doesn't chug with the AC on......any ideas?

My 2000 started blowing warm air ealier this year, and a can of freon solved the problem - I've never had the ac affect the engine while it was running

I think you might all need the A/C recharged with R 134A.
