removing shift knob

ok well im lookin into getting a new shift knob, and im jw does the stock one just unscrew? or what do u have to do to get it off? thanks

put the tranny in 2nd gear. jiggle the knob as you pull back on it. it should unclip itself and come off...i believe. thats how you do it in an srt4 atleast

NO NO NO man you have to put it in nutreal k then push hard strait down then turn left maybe right i think left i had the same probmlem and it will come off .

yeah thats it, i just pulled the boot down before i did anything and saw that, thanks guys
