i recently bought a nissan 200sx 1988 se-v6 (s12 rwd) and found on another forum that the r200 clutch type LSD in an 87.5-89 z31 300zx is a direct bolt in swap.
my question is this, do all of the z31's from those years have this LSD diff, or just some? if it is just some of them, is there any easy way to tell the lsd ones from the non-lsd ones? (like subaru r160's, picture below) or would i have to crack the case? ![]() does anyone know a good source for these diffs? (the r200 not the r160) thanks in advance for any help given. |

to visually tell them apart... the non lsd diffs have a smooth looking rear piece to them, and the lsd diff's have a bunch of cooling fins all over them

good luck... if you find more than one, get them checked out to see if they still work and then sell them for $650 on ebay
