How did it feel like when you were take your driving test to get your license?

Title says it all. I'm turning 16 on july 8th and I will be using my 2000 focus zx3 so that should make it easier, but don't get me wrong here I can drive bigger vehicles i've driven from 20ft box trucks to 24ft box trucks since my dad used to have a produce company.

i don't really worry...i'm a performance car freak but i drive like a 70 year old lady. and one time i got seriously bored and read the drivers manual cover to cover so i know what to do and what not to do

Lame, i got all nerves and shit, and put the navigator in reverse when i ment to put it in drive, and almost hit a car. Lame shit made me fail 2 times, and sence then almost no problems

i very much doubt i'll be nervous, i might take the test in the summer. until then i'll just drive carefully and hope i dont get caught.

my friend failed his test for being cocky, he did a handbrake turn once the test was oficially finished, but he failed because it was wreckless driving.

Theres 2 things you NEVER read a manual for... a car, and a computer.

i only read the manual when you need to do something like change a fuse. it doesn't take a genius to work out how to drive a car. and all the buttons have li'l purdy pictures on them to explain.

um...my instructor fell asleep. although she was curious how we got back to school so fast.

I was not nervous about my driving ability at all.

I WAS nervous because the examiner was a truly stunning and gorgeous woman.......... it's really difficult to drive when you are trying to peek down her blouse.......

I passed my test in about 2 minutes and she displayed absolutely NO interest in me personally

isnt there one state where the entire driving test takes place in the test centre's parking lot? i saw something like that on TV a while back.

didn't have any jitters when i took my driving test.

I had my drivers test with my drivers ed. teacher, so I wasn't all that nervous since I was already use to his cussing and grabbing the steering wheel and slamming on the brake if I went up to the line a little too quickly.

Unless you absolutely have no idea how to drive at all, it is impossible to fail a test. Driving tests are super easy, in most states they are probably too easy. When I got my license about all they looked for was that I didn't run red lights and that I didn't try and make a right turn from the left turn lane.
If somebody can't handle that, then they shouldn't even be allowed to walk in public, let alone drive a vehicle.
