Z3 CD Skipping on Bumps

Am on my second factory Cd/radio, and it is skipping on medium sized bumps. Would a 6 CD changer help?

Re: Z3 CD Skipping on Bumps

I don't think a stacker will help, I had one and it still jumped over bumps. This happens with a lot of units, the only suggestion is to go for a CD player that plays MP3s. these devices cache a large portion of the song into solid state memory. this means that bumps don't affect them.

hope this helps.

I know, my cd player skips over small speed bumps. It's really aggravating.

I tried installing a 6 CD changer in the trunk and had the same result. Burned CDs seem even worse than the original copies. I am considering getting an IPOD adapter from Crutchfield and using the IPOD instead. The adapter supposedly lets you control song and playlist selection from the original head unit in the car.
