Hi Guys,

My deal is this..the plastic pully that the cable rides on broke, everything else is working fine... motor, cables,... dealer wants first born...any suggestions on where or how to buid or buy that pully? Also, their were manuals posted at one time for 93 Rodeo Izusu does anyone have that they can send me? Thanks In Advance for any reply's |

I find that if the cable gets off the pulley, it gets spooled incorrectly and it's less hastle to get a cheap regulator online and replace it. I'm sure I've posted a link before...

FIXED PROBLEM.
Well, I got it done! but,....my cable is loose... I got the window to go up and down but it laggs because of too much slack in cable. I've seen the pics that are posted on a 95 and it looks different or does anyone know or have any instructions on how to re-roll cable. I don't mind removeing everything again....I'm an expert now... |

Bump.
Any updates? My rear windows just gave out and I think the front passenger is on its way. It takes forever to go back up. |

Have the same issue on my front drivers window - specially if it's cold or humid outside.
I'll get into it at some point, for now it's still working just very aggravating

Re: need help with 93 Rodeo Izusu Regulators for Windows V6 3.2
Just fixed the same problem yesterday morning...
Window was stuck and not moving - disassembled the door and found that the upper guide had snapped, causing the two cables to bind and not allow any movement. Wanting a quick fix and being a capable "ham-and-egger", I drilled a hole straight through the door and into the metal strip the window moves on. I then cut a bolt to size and filed out a notch to act as a makeshift guide. Reassembled and works good as new. I just need to remember that fix and not use the window too much so as to not fray the cable. I couldn't figure out how to remove the cables/guides/metal strip, otherwise I would have picked one up at the junkyard or fashioned a new one myself. Was going to do the thermostat as well - but have no idea how to go about it - darn thing is hidden underneath too much for me to attempt it. |
