Help! My cat ate a golfball!
Well , with the oil situation calmed for now , my next question is the golfball rattling sound in my catalytic converter.....is it "melted" , saw that term here somewhere , or possibly something else? Did I mention that I love love love these forums...and you guys?

Either a loose heat sheild or the internals of the cat melted down.

Re: Help! My cat ate a golfball!
most likely the heat sheild rusted. jsut a loos piece of metal sitting on top (or below...) the cat. you can cut it off (the shielding--not the cat..)
