Well, caught the midnight showing with some friends and while it was a good movie, it sucked!!! As I posted in a bullentin on MySpace, I planned on seeing it today at least once with more friends but there ain't no way I'm wasting money on that. Every little thing was off.

Now, if you just enjoyed the movies, sure, go see it. While some parts may still piss you off by the anticlimaticness and oddity of it, the ending does, at least to me, make up for almost all the stupid things they did. They chose the perfect ending, although, they still could have had it without everything else they did.

It was bad enough with Phoenix. It was not a part of Jean all along. Not to mentioned plenty of other things that if you cared about the comics or show at all, you'll come out saying "Why/how the hell did they do that!?!" it's that off and wrong.

And, the fact that the new director is suppose to be a big comic book fan! He should have known all nerds, geeks and dorks would be disappointed. *sigh*

Awesome action movie, but if you care about the plot at all and how things typically and proabbly should be, then it sucked. Overall, I'm sad I spent the money.

Now, I wait...for Pirates II. And Spidey next year!

Did you stay until the ending credits end? Because they show another scene with what happened to xavier. He transported to that one guys body from the educational video he was teaching to the students at the beginning of the movie. So now he will be able to walk in the next movie if there is one.

I seen it today. It was pretty good. It was better than I thought it was going to be but, not what I expected.

Here is what I don't get, they go along killing off characters left and right trying to make us think, "this is it" when it isn't. Here are things I'm wondering about.

(1.) Cyclops, what was the deal? They killed him off very early and made him look like a damn pussy.

(2.) Magneto, what do we call him now? He moved a plastic chess piece so are we going to call him Plasteto?

(3.) Xavier, will he be played by a different person now? Why would you have a guy for three movies and then off him so you can bring in somebody else?

(4.) Rogue, she lost her powers so where will she go? Can she stay at the school or are her and ice boy going to go off and start a family now? I mean he can stay in the X-men but she can't.

(5.) We only have two true X-men left, Wolverine and Storm. Are they staying, going, or what?

I did notice a huge error i thought, theres a scene when he moves the bridge, then its night, then you see the bridge lit up, that was gay
It was ok, everyone i went with said the same thing "Why wasn't it longer"

I think those chess pieces were metal and not plastic or it wouldn't make sense (not that anything else about the movie really does.) I have a feeling the so called cure didn't work, which means Rogue would get here powers back and so would Mystique, and whoever's still alive that got "cured." My thinking with Xavier is he switched places with the dude in the hospital or the lady wouldn't have recognized him and called his name. And there is Iceman left...he's an X-men, so is Beast.

aside from the fact i never liked cyclops 'cause they made him a jek off from the first movie, and not mentioning they killed sabertooth way too easy, this was planned from the beginning.

they made him a jerk so he would be killed, logan can admit his love for jean. kitty should be with colossus and iceman does have hugre potential. where the hell was nightcrawler!?!

and shit, make a lot of time pass, everyone get there powers...but I want Apocolypse!!! And I want the movie longer than 2 hours!!! This wasn't even that!

Bring on the 4 hoursemen and nothing but action! And yeah, i noticed the sudden change to night as well. I gave up by then on making sense of the movie though. As I said, it was good, but i won't see it again till HBO or someone has it. *sigh*

But the Beast naturally got his fighting skills for the most part. Would they make Colossus work for magneto like he does in the comics? i think i have a problem 'cause im too into the comics and everything. same dela i had with star wars.

But ive been thinking about it, and they should have left off where they did in x2, dont you think?

They should have done something where they sent off nightcrawler, showed more of wolverines past. Then they should have showed the mutant cure.
And mabey a emotional scene with jene going to the past, to see her powers
Then they should have had more cyclops, i mean come on did he say anything besides "Jene"?
Im starting to think its like a 1-1/3 star movie now

If you paid attention to the movie or the comics for that matter you would of known he was one of the originall xmen. Remember he put on his suit and said it used to fit him better.

secondly the cure wont last as evidenced by magneto at the end of the movie(metal chess pieces)

How do you know for sure that she killed cyclops it didnt show us?

Also there not going to make the movie follow the comics to a t. They are going to add in their own twist and plots so that its a diff experiance for yall. the first 2 didnt follow the comics to a t either so chill with the bitchin about it cuz you know when the 4th comes out yall will be there to watch regardless.

+recently, I found out the actor who plays him said he's signed for more than one, and he only appeared in the first so where was he?

What i heard is that their going to make person specific movies, like a single movie about prof, or rouge, or wolverine.
Because these movies were a trilogy.

X-Men movies are the only superhero/comic movies I'll watch. I haven't seen Spider Man or Hulk or any other one, but those X-Men movies are just so damn good.
