Help!!! 98 Cavalier Low Beams Not Working

my low beams wont work they only work when i pull that switch back my brights work and when i try to put my dims on the daylights come on so can anyone please help...im thinkin it has somethin to do with the wiriing..

Start working back from the lights. You probably checked the bulbs, connectors. Wiring will go to a relay. It is either under the hood or under the dash. Look it up in the little manual. If you find the relay short the two poles in the socket that need to be closed when the relay pulls in. If the lights come on, the relay is bad or anything up the line. If not, the wiring is definetly bad. Put a lightbulb with wires or a multimeter into the socket of the relay where it would get power for its coil. You should get light/voltage if the lights are turned on. If not, the relay might be good, but gets no power. Check fuses. If still no luck the wires from the switch or the switch its self is bad, needs to be changed. Good luck!
