K&N Air Fliter

Have any of you installed a K&N air filter on your lincolns? If so how do you like it?

i have on my 95. was really worth it. the car has better pick up and im gettin really great gas mileage. ive had it in for prob almost a year now and the car still runs the same since the day i put it in. i highly recommend it. i mean, my car has 190,000 miles on it so it was worth it. plus, those air filters are guaranteed to last as long as you own you car.

Re: K&N Air Fliter

When you installed your K&N,did you take out your air box completely?? I put mine in today and i did not take it out like the instructions say. I wonder why it says to do this. I guess to make sure the air box is sealed. Mine looks in good condition and closes properly.

Re: K&N Air Fliter

I was thinking of getting a cold air intake mod. Could this be done on the towncar with no problems??

Re: K&N Air Fliter

Thanks man for your reply. I have been looking on the net and have not been able to find info on a town car with the cold air intake. I am going to take it to a performance shop and see what they tell me.
