Air recirculation

I have 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited I6 and the air recirculation is not working. I can tell that it is not working because i would not normally smell exhaust fume or any outside odor and feel humidity while the air is set on recirculation. Also, I can feel air blowing in under the dash and glove box which it shouldn't be blowing out because the control is set on to blow from the front dash. Any idea what is wrong with it? Is it an easy fix because I'm on vacation in the south with high humidity and I hate humidity. Thanks.

Sounds like the door flap is broken.
