Help: Remove Windscreens
Can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove windscreens that have been glued for some time. I want to remove parts from my Skyline GTS 25T so it can be resprayed. Any help would be appreciated.This is my first post and would like to add how GREAT this forum is. Have already found endless amounts of tips and tricks. put acitons (sp?) in an eye dropper and put it on the wind screen... thats what i have done..but not to much..ull burn the plastic

Do you mean acetone, used for cleaning surfaces prior to painting.

Will try nail polish remover as it has acetone in it. If that does not work will have to mask the windows so I can respray it. Thanks.
