Does it have RCA jacks? Back in high school (when dinosaurs ruled the earth) people had epicenters on their car stereos. They were supposed to get more bass out of the system. I suppose they might still be made. IDK...did you google it? Search engines are our friends.

Re: What is a epicenter E12-908D-6A for?

nah no jacks what so ever

has 3 maybe 4 wires that go in to the unit and then a flat wire that has 4-5 smaller wires inside it
i am thinking it may be something to do with the Reverse gauges sense it has them and they dont work i still need to pull them out and see if theres a space for it to connect to the back of them

Why don't you trace the wires back and see where they lead? That would givce you a good indication of what it's used for (stereo, gauges, etc).

He said it's under the dash. And it's actually the cruise control box. I don't have cruise on my RS so the cable just runs from the pedal right to the throttle.

It's a good thought but you would think it would have some kind of logo on or it or something if it was an alarm.

Not if it was a factory alarm.

Re: What is a epicenter E12-908D-6A for?

well the only wires that come out of the box seem to be a hot wire and a ground
other then the flat wire that that isnt connected to anything

its my guess that it is for the Gauges the car has some kind of Glow Gauges these are on ebay not sure how long u can view but i'll toss it in the post for people to see what i mean

they dont light up so i am thinking this maybe the power box for the gauges

It would be tied into a harness if it was the factory alarm, not just a hot wire and a ground with a single harness coming out of the alarm box.

Destrukt, how big of a box is it? Like 3"x2"x2"?? Cause that's about the size of my glow gauges control box.

What does the plug on the end of the flat harness look like? Is it really small?
