New Mustang Toons

I've been working on a couple of new series of Mustang
toons. Here's a sampling of the 1967 collections...
(Some still need background work.)

And the 1968 collection...
(There's a couple of "Bullitt" what if ones in there--the vert and GTCS.)

Re: New Mustang Toons

They look great! Did you sort of use the same lines for all of them or did you completely redo everything for each one?

Some of both, all use a similar shape and some basic design elements,
but there are feature changes among the fastbacks, coupes and verts.
And most have some unique parts, too.

They all have the same basic proportions and wheel/tire size.
The pencil drafts start with a 2" wide front and 2" wide side measurement.
The top of the grill opening is about 1" high and the roof peaks at about 2".

It's taken me a few years to create a format that I like and one that I can adjust
to almost any car or truck shape.
I've been calling these my "2by2" CAR-toons.

When I finish Mustangs I'll try Corvettes or Muscle MOPAR's next.

Blip

Here's some of the pencil drafts...

Thanks for the comments.

Nope that's not me, but I wish I could draw pixel cars.
I'm an ol' pen and marker guy who switched to vector images just
a few years ago.
