in the long long run... are cars out of the box worth less than the ones in the box..even if they are flawless

Uhh...I couldnt resist opening my cars...but all my 1:64 scales are still in the box! (Wow! $3!)

Because of the amount of cars that I have, I couldn't keep the boxes of all of them, storage problems. But I have them all in a display that keeps them sealed tight. Although I don't plan on selling any of them, they are keeping their values.
Keeping them in their boxes unopened does tend to get more money if you plan on buying and selling them later.
