Help With Ac

I have the common AC problem in my car were its hot on the driver side cold on the pass. side . Well i tried the battery trick all ready it didnt work so know i just wanna know if anybody knows how to do it manually . go inside the dash and push the actuator to the proper spot , if not please give me a link to this new upgraded control headunit ive tried to find it but have not.1 more thing how can u tell if this headunit is the one with the upgraded values in it so i know before i buy 1. thanks its getting hot so i need my ac

Then you are probably low on refrigerant. I had the same problem and the battery thing didn't help, so I went yesterday (as the problem got worse - not even cool air) and had it recharged. It is now ice cold all around.
