VTEC wiring for b16a

OK guys im still waitin on my parts to get here (hopefully by the weekend) and im tryin to get this VTEC wiring and engine harness mess out of the way so i can plug and play once i get the parts. Does anybody have a link to some pictures on pinouts or the best way to make it all look clean? I need a walkthrough cuz im kind of learning it but still dont understand what all i need to wire seperately. Ive got a PR3 ecu and obd0 harnes. but i have some of the obd1 harness from the b16 so i can use some of their pins?? im tryin to make a website to walk ppl thru the swap so any info would be appreciated

Re: VTEC wiring for b16a

i think this is as simple as it gets. thanks to frodo for the pic i now understand it way better

and of coarse your knock sensor will need to be wired along with a second o2 sensor if you havent done that already

Re: VTEC wiring for b16a

ok call me crazy but i only saw one o2 sensor on the engine, and connected to the factory header. The aftermarket header only had one sensor bung too..hmmm

do you kno what pins the knock will be wired to?? thanks for the pic thatll help me a lot this weekend when i finally get home to do some more work on it.

Hehe, go me! LOL..Oh, and this is even better, wll help along with the picture. And you may have to have a bung welded into the exhaust system, not expensive. Or you could splice one O2 sensor into both c8 and c16..but I wouldnt recommend.

Re: VTEC wiring for b16a

well there should be two of them. the new ecu should have the 2nd o2 sensor pinout from the ecu. its really simple dont let all the crap confuse you. or was that just me? i would get frustrated and want to give up. here is some more help for this link you will have to scroll down to under the EF section. it will tell everything. good luck with it

Re: VTEC wiring for b16a

B16 has two 02's...d16 has one. the second one is in c08. Hasport's site seems to be down, probably why the link didnt work.
