Odometer problems

Ok, I have a 89 Grand Prix SE. And I beleve the Odometer wire has somehow come disconnected. Can someone tell me how to remove the dash and get at the wire so I can check? Or post a diagram of the instructions? It really sucks not knowing when I'm going to run out of gas, or how bad the ticket is going to be.

Re: Odometer problems

There are a lot of cluster issues with 88-95 GM W-bodies, so you most likely need to get your cluster repaired. Trying to get one from a salvage yard is a crap shoot and you may get one with the same issue. Most common issues are low fuel/check guages lights stuck on and speedo/odometer inop issues.
