Oil Light

My son has a 95-Monte Carlo. The oil light comes on and stays on. Checked oil levels. There is plenty, in fact probably too much. No engine noises, car runs smooth. Any ideas? Can too much oil cause the light to come on?

Thanks

Re: Oil Light

Try To Reset The Oil Light, Call Your Local Oil Change Place, They Will Tell You How To Do It.

Re: Oil Light

Is it the oil pressure light or the oil level light? If you've ruled out low pressure or oil level, then a sensor or wiring is most likely the problem.
