Cool 01' Hyundai Accent

I have been given a 2001 hyundai accent in perfect condition and was considering fixing it up.

I was wondering about some basic ideas that will improve on performance with minimal threat to my bank balance.

Re: 01' Hyundai Accent

you could just do the simple I/H/E, intake, headers, exhaust.
is the car a 5-spd? or an automatic? if it is a 5-spd you could do a short throw shifter. also the brakes and the suspension on the accents are not all that good, you could look into upgrading both.
hope this helps a little
