2002, Shift lever doesn't work at all

Hello everyone,

"My 2002, is stuck, Shift lever will move but gears will not change, from P to 1. This car was driven a short distance in the morning with no trouble, and when retrieved in the afternoon, behaved badly in this way."

I am inquiring on behalf of a guy named Keith who CALLED me, from Missippi. He'll be here soon as he figures out how to join the forum. Sure knows his way around Whitepages.com. Seemed nice enough to endulge.

More details that I gleened. Car was driven by teacher wife, and rescued by Husband Keith. He says, no trans problems before this incident. Fluid seems fine. TRS seems fine. My have overfilled Transmission two week prior.

Keith, Is this the last week of school? Is your wife a High School Teacher?
Once you figure out how to get here, the forum will let you post till you delete your cookies, temporary internet files. Change your password to something you can remember easy.
