Problems related?
I'm getting a few strange smells with my 2001 3.5. First, my DIC keeps telling me Coolant Level Low, but only when the car is cold. Also, I can smell coolant, but I can't see any on the ground, and also, when the car is idling, I can smell a very strong burning rubber smell. Could this be a melting hose, or something? I can't seem to find anything though. Also, this has been going on for about 6 months now. If it were a hose, wouldn't it have burnt a large enough hole to pour coolant out by now?
