I've been so preoccupied with other things, I havn't made it out to the track this year yet. Has anyone? What kind of times, experiences have you guys had....

I'm hopeing to get out their at least once...

I want to go but right now I'd leak oil all over and my clutch wont hold a launch so I decided to wait untill I get the new motor in and running good.

Still got the tranny leak. It's smaller, but still there. Also still got knocking from the right front axle (don't know what it is yet), and would like to get some new front tires before I hit it up. Damn problems

I went up twice a week for the first month. No real luck. Ran a slightly new best at 12.0, and a better trap of 115. Tranny will not shift at 8k rpm, has to be this POS ACT street disc. Decided I'm not racing again until I get the Tilton twin disc in, but I may go up wednesday to run on pump gas. I made one pump gas pass last year in full street trim (spare, tip silencer, race gas jugs in the trunk

, everything), with only 10 degrees of timing, and 10.5:1 AFR. It ran high 12s at 109. Still haven't done any pump gas tuning since then. So it's about time. Might as well. Might hit the dyno saturday too and try to break 400 whp.

Oh yeah, ran a bunch of 1.6s and hit a best (in this car) 60 foot of 1.65.
On the snow tires.

i went to quaker city raceway the first friday they held it. ran a couple 12.7s
with the lovely 2nd gear grind, but then i blew my fuel line and the cars been down ever since gotta love owning a 14 year old car.

busted is fine but i cant find a damn replacement fuel sending unit anywhere. now im trying to get some one to weld me a new line on it

I would goto the track but my engine is still out. BUT!!! its complete now, i just need to still get the engine bay all cleaned up and painted. Here is a few pics.

Nice Kevin. I'll hit up the track soon enough, I need to get the head, gasket match it, port the o2 sensor housing, exhaust mani, turbo, and intake manifold. Once I get all that done, I should have enough money to start on some fuel mods and exhaust or DSMlink.

Kevin how come you say you ran a new best at 12 when your sig says you've hit 11.3 Im guessing it was with a different car or turbo (from your collection).

New best of 12 with the evo not the eclipse, thats better than previous 12.3 i think i cannot remember.

Yup, 12.0 is in the stock turboed EVO. The 11.3 at 126 was the GSX. Previosu best in the EVO was 12.19 from last year. Both sets of times are in my sig, I need to update the EVO time, but it's not really worth it till I hit 11.9999
