Electrical/Start issue

I've got a 1999 GMC Jimmy. Sometimes in the AM, she wont start right away. It almost seems like a dead battery but will eventually catch. The battery light does not come on but when she does start, the back hatch will pop, my tow haul light comes on and I notice that my clock resets to 1:00. She'll run great all day.

This first started happening two months ago. At first we thought it was the battery since the clock was off so we replaced it. It started happening again about a month later so we replaced the starter. All was good for another month or so then it started again on Sunday. Sunday night we made sure there was nothing plugged in, all lights were off, doors were all closed and locked..and it happened again on Monday AM. Almost didn't want to start but did on the second try.

Thanks for any advice.. We're not sure what to do from here..

Re: Electrical/Start issue

Sounds like the ignition switch is going bad (common in our trucks). This causes all sorts of problems from no start to gauge flikering to transmission not shifting correctly.
