Accord Type R info help

Right, my dad is a car dealer, and he was plannin on buyin an Impreza WRX (either plain Turbo, Sti or higher spec), but he mite be getting an Accord Type R (UK spec) in p/x for a car. Do you guys thing the Accord Type R is a good enough replacement for an Impreza in the short run?
