OMG it's a time warp!!!

Arrrrrgh it’s 80’s day on the radio today. All they are going to play is songs from the 80’s!!! They're playing “Ice, Ice, Baby” at the moment!

:hehehe:

hahaha oooh Ice Ice Baby

All right stop
Collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs ahold of me tightly
Then I flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop?
Yo-- I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle

They're still playing the odd 80's song every now and again. Just played "Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran.

and Damien I think "Ice, Ice, Baby" was late 80's, maybe 1989??

Speaking of 'dated' music.........whats with the Manchester Comm Games opening ceremony and the Bee Gee's......arrggghhhh.

They must've had the 20min version of " you should be dancing...yeah" or whatever the bloody name of it is???

I may seem like a foggy to some of you, but the 80s music rocked! When bands like ACDC and ZZTOP were doing their best stuff

hmm, WLZX here plays lots of 80's... every day the have the Lazer Hairclub for Men, where they play those 80's metal hair-bands. lets see, WCCC has threesome thursday, i think you can figure out what that is. And oh yeah, WLZX has Mandatory Metallica, where every weekday at 7 they play 3 metallica songs. But that doesnt beat WCCC which has Metallica Alphabetica, oh yes, they play EVERY metallica song, IN alphabetical order, ALL DAY!

i love my radio stations. They're probably why i havent bought a cd'player for my car.
WLZX Lazer 99.3
WCCC The Rock 106.9

80's music was my music when I was a teen and all that. It was gone for a while because the late 80s and early 90s had good music coming out. I think due to MP3's and the internet nothing that is marketed on TV is good right now, to my ears anyway. I think that record companies can only make money on boy and girl groups. So the music sucks and they have to fill the air with 80s stuff and old chart hitting songs.
I liked the come back at first because it made me remember my past feelings a bit but after a while I wish it would die off. I like new music but there hasn't been anything orginal for a long time now and I'm wanting for something to happen. Maybe someday something new will come. I hope.

Regards,
Spotovi
