how do you remove the plastic piece

does any one have any idea how you remove the plastic piece that is by the little rear window, without breaking it.I need to replace the drivers side quarter panel and bought a donnar car and would like to reuse this piece also.

thanks

Re: how do you remove the plastic piece

unbolt the seatbelt at the top, remove the hook, take out the back seat, and gently pry it out. you shouldn't break it getting it out...putting it back in on the other hand, let's just say, it can be a fun job.

Re: how do you remove the plastic piece

I should have been more specific, I need to take the plastic body piece from the outside above the quarter panel by the window.

thanks

Re: how do you remove the plastic piece

OH LOL

to be honest, I believe it's glued on. my manual doesnt give any instructions on it. That would be my only guess.

EDIT...the cavalier guys say that the door side bolts on and the window side is glued on. but, there may be some bolts under the wall panel on the inside. I don't really know for sure.
