Re: D16A1 head On D15B2
the D16A1 head is a dual over head and the D15 B2 is a single overhead thats the only thing that i dunno about it working or not

Re: D16A1 head On D15B2
the D16A1 is from the integra, not the civic. I'm pretty sure it's also a dohc and will not fit any other d series sohc motor. The 88-91 civic/crx SI models came with the d16A6 not A1.

Re: D16A1 head On D15B2
ok,
I guess your right & I'm wroung, but I did find a buch of sites of ppl saying d16a1 sohc...113 hp but searching on ebay they was dohc's ppl might of been mixing them up just as I did, with the d16a6 anyways, its not worth the trouble/hassel of putting on a dohc head on an sohc block, I'll get you a link to that build up.

Re: D16A1 head On D15B2
Actually yeah, they are right..I thought it was an a6, I have seen it myself, the A1 was in an 88 teg in a junkyard Isaw..so it will not fit.

Re: D16A1 head On D15B2
i think he means it will be too much work to do it. also not worth it the d16a1 is garbage. better off with a mini me swap or a d16a6 will even be better then the a1.
