Manual 03' GT?

Is there a way to turn a grand am GT with a 3400 into a manual? I'm pretty sure there were some years that a manual was offered but i cant find any online. Even if it's not a 03 but at least the last generation assuming it bolts to the 3400 and not the 4-cylinder. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Manual 03' GT?

Good luck finding a Grand Am with a manual transmission, there like a unicorn as far as just bolting on a manual transmission to a 3400 it would take alot more work than just bolting it on, you would need to redo your interior shifter, i know there has been a discussion on here about this. Basically it can be done but its gonna cost $$$ if you have it do it, it would of been nice if they would of made some Grand Am GT's that were manual specifically the SC/T models, and if they would of made a GXP model definetly would of been worth the money to buty if it had a manual tranmission or at least the tap shift like the grand prix's.
