Chevy Silverado Prerunner Update 6-7-06

This is what I have been working on for about a month. Right now, the rear fenders are off and in progress. I didn't like the way they looked. I am making all workable suspension. Probably going to start that today. Thanks for looking.

Re: Chevy Silverado Prerunner

Ok, its been awhile since I have updated here, but I have got alot of the front suspension going. Just figuring out a few more things. I have completed the engine, and redid my bedside fenders. I like them better now personally, but either way this is how they are staying...

Re: Chevy Silverado Prerunner

Its been awhile, but I have an update. I painted the cab and fenders, sprayed the trim on the windows(1st time), and cleared it, except for the fiberglass fenders. I no longer use fotki because I ran out of room, but those links will show you my build up to here. I scrapped the back part, and the whole suspension. Still brainstorming anyways here are some pics, and thanks for looking!

Re: Chevy Silverado Prerunner

All they are is part of a propel water bottle, the top part. I cut them in half and sort of worked the bends till they matched up . Then I glued them in place, put styrene on top to match them up with the hood and putty and putty and sand and sand.... Its really not that hard. I hope this helps... When I do another prerunner I will make a tutorial. Thanks for the comment.

Re: Chevy Silverado Prerunner

Ok, finally another update. I bought a new silverado kit, and have the new chassis. I made the camburg long travel suspension for the front and I am in the process of making the bed cage. I also have the bedsides in the working. Here are a couple pictures...
