Looking for books/websites on suspensions

Can anyone recommend a good site to learn more about car suspensions? I know the basics but would like to more about intermediate/advanced tuning. It seems all everyone does is lower their car and slap on some strut tower braces but I would like to know what to do beyond that.

i admit i never checked it out but when i was lookin for tyres on www.tirerack.com i noticed they had a suspension section. if you want to learn the principles then go to www.howstuffworks.com . apart from that try the manufacturers sites.

HSW does not have a suspension guide.

Just ask your questions here, I am pretty knowledgable in suspension tuning and design. Alternatively, there are some great books out there, but which one you should buy depends upon what you are looking to do with the car.

I am looking to learn beyond the basics of suspension tuning. I know you can lower your car, slap on some stiffer shocks/struts, get stut tower braces and thicker anti roll bars but I want to learn more than that. What other factors affect handling dynamics? How do you use tire pressures to modify oversteer/understeer? What actually is a double wishbone suspension and why is it superior? I feel rude just asking forum memembers to answer my questions, hence why I asked where to find more info. I don't mind doing my own research.

There are a ton of books which can teach you all those things, though it still takes time to absorb all the information. My favorites:

"Chassing Engineering" by Herb Adams
"Car Suspension At Work" by Jeffrey Daniels
"How to Make Your Car Handle" by Fred Puhn
"Competiton Car Suspension" by Allan Staniforth
