new head unit
Hi all i just replaced my old cd player with a Pyle DVD player will soon be connecting a small lcd in the rear for my daughter to watch on long trips
every thing seems fine but i cannot get a certain radio station too come in even though the tower is less than 3 miles away. the previous unit had no problems but the new unit has alot of noise and interfearence. whats is going on here what can i do too receive my local station?? any thoughts greatly appreciated |

There are local settings on your radio that may help. I'm not familiar with that head unit so..i hope you kept the manual..

Sure the antenna is plugged in? At 3 miles it should come in like a bell, local setting or not. Unless its a very low power transmitter.

I'm sorry to say, but PYLE is not the way to go. Spend a little more for some quality players like Kenwood, Clarion, or if you got some $ to spend, go for Pioneer or Alpine. I prefer pioneer, but they run about 3-4 hundred.

I would just check the antenna and make sure its pluged in all the way, and when you put the new deck in make sure you connected all the wires in the harness up right.
