Sorry atmosphere
So we had a pretty sweet/really fucking stupid night. First off, I finished my potato cannon and we went and tested it. MAN it was fucking amazing? The first few sucked, but after a while we were blasting them like 200-250 yards. We even left a big dent in Mikes beater, the 86 Oldsmobile Calias (fucking French). We took pictures and a couple shot videos, we are going to make a movie and I'll post it when its doed. The stupid shit we did was buying 8 cans of $.96 blue spray paint and trying to paint his Oldsmobile. Man, we feel so fuckin dumb right now, why we do. Whats even worse is we did it by flash light at night! On top of that bitch, we are a bit whacked off the paint foomes. Why, why, why do you we do stupid shit? We'll post video/pictures when we can figure out how to make the camera tell us its secret pictures. Good night errrrbody in da club getting tipsy.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

 Thats great man cannot wait to see the video of your potato cannon. Im in the process of making one also that really has a handle like a gun!!

Hah, very nice. A few days ago, my friend and I made like a sweet ass bottle rocket gun/shooter. It had handles, a strap, and sights on it. Made it out of pvc pipes and metal tape. Kept shooting it at various targets like trees, peoples mailboxes hah, and other crap. Was pretty fun, but I guess not as good as a potato.

Yes, yes it did. It looks like condensed and purified shit, took us about an hour and a half, and probably took a big ass chunk out of the ozone layer. We feel AMAZINGLY stupid right now. Its one of those things like, "What the fuck was going through our minds?" Oh well, his Talon will be on the road in about a week (hopefully less) so he wont have to drive that POS.
Our potato cannon is pretty sweet. The instructions we had said to make the explosion chamber 14" long out of 3" diameter PVC. We made it 24" of 4" then coupled down to 6-8" of 3", then to the 2" barrel. The interior volume of the instructions one was supposed to be ~100ci... ours is roughly 370ci volume! Its great, it puts my .308 to shame! The video wont be overly cool, we were just using my still camera's video function for the video, but it will be on here as soon as its done!
