ive installed a couple of pairs of these and they look good, but you lose alot of foot room and also i duno how the parking brake will work becasue this will block that.

just see if you can find new door panels , any tahoe suburban silverado should work. the escalade should to i think. or you could just install the 61/2 components and cut a hole for the tweeter and flush mount it in the door.

for the door panels i would check a junk yard, and to flush mount the tweeters you will have to remove the door panels and find a spot that is flat and has some room behind it and then get a hole saw bit and put in a drill and drill the hole the size of the tweeter and then install it.

so then they are the same type of door panal you have right?? i got to do some hunting around the problem I have is that my truck has manual doors and windows so the switch controls would not be hooked up thats why i asked from the begining if i can get the part of the door panel i need and swap the rest of the pieces i could be wrong

Re: kick panel enclosure question

you might be able to get manual doors, but i duno the other doors speaker grill might be in the way for the crank to work and the switch panels will have switches unless you can find replacement ones.

Re: kick panel enclosure question

I say just upgrade your 6 1/2 and cut out the holes for the tweeters like sportin83 said. Cheapest and easiest way

Re: kick panel enclosure question

i dont know of any off top of my head without searching around. if you can work with wood and fiberglass you could build some kickpanels. i found this link 1 time and has a pretty basic step by step process. http://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/kickpanels/index.htmhttp://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/kickpanels/index.htm
