That was on a wet drag strip, well, damp anyway, earlier this year!

I haven't managed to run the car in good, hot conditions yet!

I would hope to get a low 15 out of it, even though it is a hard car to launch!

Yeah you're right...but there are wayyy too many conditions to determine quarter mile times

Driver, weather conditions, tires, launch, etc. Therefore one cannot always expect to get the "stock" 15.1 quarter

Arrow justin

I'll get back to you on this soon. My engine rebuild was pushed back a couple weeks by factors out my my control. But the plan is to build the new motor in two weeks. I'll have some quarter mile times for you in due time.

you guys are so full of crap. no way in hell can you do a 15.1 in a stock prelude. the 15.9 is right. thats what i run in my '91 b21a1 and i beat vtec 5gens. a 15.1 is a b16a in a fully gutted civic hatch with just a dash and 2 front seats. i jus joined a board full of rice.

oh i run 15.9 @ 85 mph before weight reduction. still room to improvement on excelleration. i have exhaust, plug wires, strut bar, ludespeed intake. and now about 100lbs worth of weigh reduction.

chill out dood...

first off, the 5th gen runs 15.2 as tested by magazines, stock.

your 91 is about 2700lbs, with a 140hp motor... that's 19.3lbs per HP

the 97+ is 2950lbs, with 195-200HP... 15.13lbs per HP

according to those numbers, the 5th gen is FASTER, unless you're making significantly more power than stock. in addition, you have no idea what i have done to my car to achieve those numbers.

just to back up drift a bit..
00 Cpe C&D Dec-99 2.2 I-4/5M 0-60, s. 6.80
70-0 Braking, ft. 182.00
1/4 mile, s. 15.40

thats from car and driver (note the C&D)

also, here is a question.. mabye someone can help
I just bought a g-tech, and its supposed to be only 1/100th off on 0-60 times, and 1/10th off on quater mile times

I just tested it out last night, 0-60 (3 tries) i got a 6.70 6.71 and 6.55
then for 1/4th i got a 14.88 on my only run..

We also tested it out with my friends crx and another friends integra
16.41 and 16.55

Both of them said thier numbers were just like @ the track.
I have never run my lude at the track, but i thought 14.88 seemed a little fast for a stock lude with only an AEM CAI

i also have another friend that used a g-tech while running at the track, and when the g-tech gave him a 12.3, he ran a 12.2

so make me happy and tell me i have a super lude?!

thanks!
