powertrain trouble code help

I have a 2001 Neon. It started running rough and the check engine light came on the other day. I checked the codes and came up with these:

P 1684 Metering Oil Pump Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

P 0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What do these mean and what do I have to do to fix the problems. Thanks.

Re: powertrain trouble code help

P1684 means the PCM has lost power while the car is off. Check your battery connections and look for any corrosion on the terminals.

P0340 is possibly unplugged or loose sensor. Try reseating it, if that doesn't work you will have to replace it.

I'd reset the PCM first and see if they come back.
