Heater core question

1989 Corsica 2.0 L w/ A/C, heater core gone bad. Anybody have detailed procedures for repair. Does dash need to be removed/loosened? Can it be pulled through firewall? What are the steps to replace. Please advise.

Re: Heater core question

Remove two covers of heating A/C unit directly in the center of the vehicle under the dash. There it is. Remove hoses from heater core at the firewall. Replace. This was so easy, a caveman could have done it. So much for thinking I should ask questions before doing this job.
