The message center in my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee keeps beeping and telling me I have a rear light malfunction. I have checked the tail lights out and they are all functioning properly, including the license plate lights. Has anybody else had this problem?

Re: 1994 Grand Cherokee Light Problem
I saw a similar post where the wrong bulb was installed, it worked fine but triggered the message center. Check to see if all your bulbs are the same type/part# and replace any that are different. Also, if there is some corrosion on the bulb or the socket it could change the voltage and might cause a similar situation so an inspection couldn't hurt.

Also check you third brake lights very carefully. I had one that was burned out but couldn't tell until I removed the bezel.
