Discovered by accident..

Well i was driving alone on a gravel road the other night around the more curvy parts (alot S turns with short straights) giving the car a work out. I was going about 50 doing some easy pedal drifts. When i come to a particular sharp turn i froze up and my left foot slips off the pedal i yell "Oh shit!!" and i turn the wheel hard into the turn and give it full gas, i thought i was dead or atleast the car. Low and all behold i do a wierd FWD drift thing i dunno what i did but the end slid out and i just drove right through it.

Now your prolly wondering why some stupid hot shot kid who hasnt even had a license for a full year being so reckless? Well my 2 buddies in there storm and teg have been cocking off to how badass there driving is so ive been working on mine at night so one night when were all together were gonna do some races and time trials for the heck of it see whos the better in our group.

Re: Discovered by accident..

^^^sounds like u got lucky....i suggest not doing that again, even if its on purpose. go there during the day and see what u turned. so when ur foot slipped off the pedal, did u heit the brake as well? that might have been what started ur fwd drift thing...

Re: Discovered by accident..

FWD drifts aren't uncommon in dirt... the ass can and will lose traction.

Back in the day, some of the fastest rally cars where FWD. aka the original Mini. I believe Porsche finally dethroned the Mini but after extensive redesigning of the 911.

Re: Discovered by accident..

Some of those earlier Celicas were great rally cars. Seems like all I see anymore are Imprezas and Evos though (for the most part).

Your lucky, be careful though, dont want you wrecking your car or yourself. And SL3000gt, you better watch out for that geo in the future, Burner has been telling me that there may be some plans in store for the geo

Re: Discovered by accident..

plus he has his greddy fart can, no cat, racing clutch and honda civic air intake. so he should be in the 17s by now i do know that car murders others from rolls but sucks from a stand still. The plans for the car is full exhaust first then a turbo if we can find it..

Greddy bolt on= 0 HP

No Cats = 2 HP (thats a generous estimate for a Geo)

Air Intake= 3 HP (Once agian, thats a generous estimate)

Clutch= Well...does he really need a racing clutch to put down 60whp?

So I would say his 1/4 is the exact same as it is stock. Theoretically its lower but not by a noticable amount.
