Going out on a limb here, anyone have connection at GM dealership?

Ok i have spent the past hr and half trying to find the part # to a body part i Need for my 99 cavalier on GMpartsdirect.com . I have found several photos which encorperate the part i need but no where do they list the damn part # so i can order it. I've called up the 3 local pick n pulls and to no avail they don't have a single 2000-2002 cav on the lot... WTF!!..This part is on 2000-2002 cavaliers only. So i am going to be stuck payin dealership cost but i need the part..

Now i don't know if the number at the bottom here is some code your guys could use to find out the actual part #. I guess in lamens terms to me, i could call it front corner marker assemly bracket. I need part #4 in the picture ontop. Yes i do realize my car is a 1999. I am doing a headlight conversion to accomodate my new body kit and trying to find this bracket is being a pain in my ass... thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Also just guessing, but is one of the parts that share the lable as "1" what you're looking for?

It'll look a bit different, the parts all use a 95-99 style picture for reference. But is that the general idea?

Don't delete the post, instead why don't you put up the part numbers and make it a productive post so we can tell the nubs to use the search button some more.

Do ya think the noobs are going to actually do a headlight conversion? Hell we can't even get them to search the other info that we already post on here.. Not only that, but honestly how many of them are going to actually go about doing this the correct way?.. LOL

The part #'s are

22626691
22626692

2000-02 front L&R headlight corner marker brackets. Next they are going to want a detailed pic on how to splice the wires for going from 2 bulbs down to one. Better be prepared...

There you go.. noobs. You can't possibly get any better than that.

You are suck a dick CRJ but if you didn't order the parts yet let me know. I'll grab some from the pick and pull this weekend and ship them to you. I can ship shit free at work. plus they are having a sale so might go cheap.

Go find a picture of the headlights off a 95-99 Cavalier. Then go look at the headlights off a 00-02 Cavalier. That's what he's changing.

im not a noob, and i dont search for shit, mainly because if i do manage to find want im looking for in the pages and pages of shit i will end up with another question then i will post my question forgetting im in a 3+ month old thread.

so either way someone will bitch about something, either you posting in an old tread or not searching, i say f it and just save your self some time and just make a new tread.

i mean i will look on page 1 and 2 for stuff but other then that im gonna make a new thread.

anyway, thanks for the part numbers, and the colorful diagram.

EDIT: also, after looking at the diagram again, on the left side, is there a distinct way to tell the 2 blue wires apart?

Re: Going out on a limb here, anyone have connection at GM dealership?

uggh, you don't really have to. One is slightly darker than the other but The center wire will be your Positive and the remaining one will be the low beam ground wire. The pig tail i have is off a 00 Sunfire which was parted out when it was totalled. They colors may have faded over time. But if you'd like i can snap a pic of the real thing for you.

Fortunately for me, I didn't need to buy anything else to put my headlights in. 'Cept for some new pins for that plastic covering that covers both lights.
