Re: silverado makes sound during takeoff

it is the slip yoke, remove rear drive shaft and lube the spline on yoke with a thick silcone grease, or high temp grease, do lube spline on the transmission output shaft.

Re: silverado makes sound during takeoff

just replaced my u joints at 70,000 miles on my 2500 hd, mine was doing the same thing.. there was no play but they were bone dry inside the caps because the stock ones dont have grease fittings
