damaged G35
Two weeks ago i saw an ad in the paper for a 2003 g35 for $11,500obo with 42,000 miles and it was damaged...a week later it went down to $9500obo and now its $7500obo...i called the owner thinking i might be able to get it for cheap and have my uncle (who owns a body shop) fix it for cheaper than most people would....it turns out that the owner bought it wrecked from an auction.....and was trying to make some money.....i saw the car and it was wrecked in the front....i immediatley thought forget this the engine is probably screwed but the owner says its not and that the engine runs fine....everything else on the front needs replacing...including the radiator,light,hood,bumper, and side panels....im no mechanic but the engine does look like its ok the hood bent down and almost protected the engine -the air bads deployed -i dont know if i would be wasting my money or if i could be finding a good deal-am i crazy for even considering this?-has anyone wrecked theirs similar to this? how much did repairs cost? ANY information on anything will be greatly appreciated! Thank You!!!!!!
