My 93 GA with 3.3 engine keeps burning out control modules
My 93 GA with 3.3 engine keeps burning out control modules. I have replaced the control module 3 times in the last 3 months. I bought the module at a Murray's Discount Auto Parts store. My mechanic says that I have a short in the wiring harness and it needs to be replaced. How hard is it to replace the harness and how much does one cost, and does anyone have another reason the modules are burning out?

Re: My 93 GA with 3.3 engine keeps burning out control modules
sounds like a short... the wiring harness is a pita !
You could always just trace every single wire till you find the short.... thats no fun either ![]() Not sure what it would cost to hav the harness replaced, not cheap I'm sure. Good Hunting !
