what coul happen?
Hi, i been thinking in remove both CATALYTIC CONVERTERS of my 2000 maxima and remove the inside material to allow more air flow, but i didn't know if thi action could result in any kind of malfunction....
any comments will be apreciated... thanks .. |

do you really want to hollow out 500 to 700 dollar each converters? expect a check engine light and hope you don't have to go to inspection

Test with piece of straight pipe - later u want (?) to re-install the cat's.
If youre after more pwr, go after air intake. |

thanks, but i live in mexico, here is not ilegal remove the cats, but my concern it's about the mpg, power, torque, diference with out cats...., and maybe if i adapt any sensor the cats contain outside to a straight pipe the SES light perhaps doesn't come on...
