ahhh, i see you're not a seasoned Brit like me

lesson, dont buy ANYTHING from a british pub
BEER: watered down, often to the point of more water than beer.
SNACKS: bowls of snacks shared out between dirty locals on their way home from work.
MEALS: ask them for a tour round the kitchen and see what they say

in my experience J.D Wetherspoons is one of the only pubs/bars in the UK that always offers good drink, try it sometime if you have one near you
