Multiple Problems Seem related

This all started at the same time. Doors will not lock/unlock w/door lock button on door or remote, Chime on DIC will not work, and interior lights (dome) will not work. It started about a month ago. 2 weeks ago I got in car and started it and I heard a chime, I hit the dome light switch and they came on I locked and unlocked the doors, they worked. I drove to my destination and shut the car off. When I returned none of this stuff worked. It seems to me like maybe a ground situation thats affecting these different items. I have checked fuses and they are OK. I just need to know where do I go from here to fix these things.

oops - actually, its the memory seat module that's under the seat.

I think the body control module is under the dash behind the dimmer control somewhere? not sure.

I know you have posted this question in the ACNA here: http://www.aurorah.proboards47.com/i...ead=1147955203
with no response. I have never experienced this problem nor read of any other with a similar issue.

Try revitalizing the thread at the ACNA with a plee for help to get it moved back to the top of the electrical section list. Seriously, the ACNA is your best bet for a resolution save for going to the stealership.

Re: Multiple Problems Seem related

now dont quote me on this and im not very good with cars, but i was checking on getting a new radio for my 01 and he said it would cost me more because i have a RDS radio. he told me that the rds controls all those things you just said was wrong with your car. he said the dummy lights and all that would go haywire if i didnt instal a rds harness in there 2 with a new radio. so maybe there is something wrong with the rds in your car??? just a thought
